THE ANNUAL GIFT OF FURTHERaNCE AWARD FOR FASHION DESIGN STUDENTS
IN AFRICA AND AMERICA

The Gift Of Furtherance was created by the Embassy Of Fashion Designers International to assists final year fashion students nationally and internationally. The main purpose for the creation of the Gift of Furtherance is to assists final year fashion design students in developing countries around the world in their final year of graduation as a Fashion Designer. Embassy of Fashion Designers International (EFDI) will offer four Gift of Furtherance awards to four deserving students. Each award will include one electric or manual sewing machines (as requested) plus 4 accessories items per choice from the enclosed lists of items. The Embassy of Fashion Designers International believes in the importance of education and of nurturing talented individuals so they may develop to their fullest potential. In this spirit, the Embassy Of Fashion Designers International will provide several gifts to qualify fashion students. Students can apply for four items in the following categories:

REQUIREMENT

The gift of furtherance is only available to qualify fashion students in their final year of graduation. To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Must be a full-time fashion student in a recognize fashion institution
2. Must be in your final year before your graduation
3. Must complete the application to register as a fashion club member
4. Must show proof of registration in a fashion institution
5. Must provide a letter of acceptance by the school dean or head of the fashion department with his signature and contact information including name, address, contact telephone number, email address and cover reference letter from the head of the college
6. Before submitting your membership application, you must first follow us on and like us on social media so your application can be reviewed and approved

6. ATTACH ONE CLEAR PASSPORT SIZE PHOTOGRAPH

7. ATTACH TWO FULL SIZE PICTURES OF YOU WEARING YOUR OWN DESIGN

8. SUBMIT APPLICATION

After we received your application, our board of directors will review the submitted application of all the application and the select two male fashion designer students and two female fashion design students that will receive the GIFT OF FURTHERANCE ACCOLADES. Each student will be contacted directly and also the head of the institution will be informed of the selected students.

Embassy Of Fashion Designers International and the Consortium of Fashion Forward Designer and Models support and strengthen America’s reputation for developing design excellence in the fashion industry. These activities assist in the growth and economic impact of the designer, the fashion industry and enhance its international, cultural, and creative reputation.

YOU MAY SUBMIT THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS BY EMAIL AT:

1. PLEASE ATTACHE YOUR A REGISTRATION FROM YOUR SCHOOL OR COLLEGE.

2. PLEASE ATTACH A NOTE FROM THE HEAD OF YOUR SCHOOL OR COLLEGE CONFIRMING THAT YOU ARE A STUDENT OF THE SCHOOL.

3. TO AUTHENTICATE YOUR APPLICATION, YOU MUST SUBMIT A CLEAR PASSPORT SIZE PICTURE OF YOURSELF.OR YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE PROCESS OR APPROVE.

4. ATTACH ONE CLEAR RECENT PASSPORT SIZE PHOTOGRAPH OF YOURSELF.

5. ATTACH TWO FULL SIZE PICTURES OF YOU WEARING YOUR OWN DESIGN.

6. SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION.

SPECIAL ATTENTION

1. The result of the selection of the Gift Of Furtherance Fashion Student’s Recipients will be posted on our website along with your photographs with some of your creation.

2. Recipients will also be nominated to receive one of several awards for your collection.

3. The names of the nominee will be posted on our website with the name of the award nominated for.

4. You may request to showcase your collection on our website.

5. Also, we may select you to do a profile spread of your collection on our digital EFDI MAGAZINE which will debut soon

6. If you are selected to receive an accolade, you will notify by email and the date and time of the award ceremony, and you may be able to watch it live.

7. If you are selected to receive an award, the award will be shipped to you fifteen days after the award ceremony.
